Meeting Our Goal & Deconstruction

Camp Kiwanis is a spacious reception hall and overnight facility featuring a lodge, 13 cabins, a rec hall, bathhouses, and expansive lawn areas. It can accommodate up to 150 guests. The current facility at Kiwanis Campground aims to finalize architectural plans by November 2025. Fundraising will continue until the required amount is raised, after which the existing facility will be demolished to begin the new construction.

Breaking Ground & Construction

After deconstruction, a larger facility with modern amenities will be built to enhance visitor accessibility and comfort. Construction is set to begin in Spring 2026. The new Camp Kiwanis will feature updated cabins, improved bathhouses, a rec hall, and expanded lawn areas. Accessibility will be enhanced with ramps and wider pathways. The new lodge will offer ⅓ more capacity, be LEED certified, accessible to all ages and abilities, and open for 6 additional months. Beaver Creek Lodge will be the premier venue within a 200-mile radius, providing ideal spaces for people to reconnect in a natural setting.

Maintaining & Caring for Facility

Once goals are achieved and the project is completed, ongoing maintenance will be supported by the Hill County Board, Friends of Beaver Creek Park Board, and administrative assistance.
