Our Current Projects
Meeting Our Goal & Deconstruction
Camp Kiwanis has long been a cherished retreat, featuring cozy cabins, a welcoming lodge, and shared outdoor spaces that accommodate up to 150 guests. Exciting progress is underway as plans for a new facility move forward, with architectural designs anticipated in 2026. Phase one fundraising goals have already been successfully met, and the existing structure was removed on March 10th. A heartfelt thank‑you to Patrick Construction for completing the demolition with such efficiency.
Breaking Ground & Construction
After deconstruction, a larger facility with modern amenities will be built to enhance visitor accessibility and comfort. Construction is set to begin in Spring 2026. The new Camp Kiwanis will feature updated cabins, improved bathhouses, a rec hall, and expanded lawn areas. Accessibility will be enhanced with ramps and wider pathways. The new lodge will offer ⅓ more capacity, be LEED certified, accessible to all ages and abilities, and open for 6 additional months. Beaver Creek Lodge will be the premier venue within a 200-mile radius, providing ideal spaces for people to reconnect in a natural setting.
Maintaining & Caring for Facility
Once goals are achieved and the project is completed, ongoing maintenance will be supported by the Hill County Board, Friends of Beaver Creek Park Board, and administrative assistance.

This modern facility will serve as a vibrant hub for diverse community gatherings, offering a welcoming space for events throughout the year. Whether it's a family reunion, a community festival, or a corporate retreat, Camp Kiwanis will be the perfect backdrop for memorable experiences.
